FSC certificate. StudioPak becomes a leader in environmental friendliness

We are pleased to announce that StudioPack has received the prestigious FSC certificate. This document certifies that our company is responsible for the use of forest resources and uses only environmentally friendly raw materials for the production of its products. 

What is FSC? 

FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is an international non-profit organization that sets standards for responsible forestry. The organization has developed its own certification system, which is recognised as one of the most rigorous and authoritative in the world. The FSC label on StudioPack packaging, in particular, confirms that the wood from which it is made comes from responsibly managed forests. This includes aspects such as: 

• protection of biodiversity – ensuring the preservation of wildlife and its habitat;
• social responsibility – respecting the rights of indigenous peoples and local communities, and ensuring fair working conditions for loggers and other employees;
• responsible harvesting of timber in a way that does not harm the forest and the environment. 

In addition, the FSC label ensures that the wood can be traced throughout the entire supply chain, from forest to end product.

History of FSC

The Forest Stewardship Council was founded in 1993 by a group of ecologists, foresters and representatives of the woodworking industry. Among them are British ecologist Michael Collins, Dutch forester Dr Benneton and German industrialist Hans-Peter Hensel. The headquarters is located in Bonn, Germany.
The organization quickly gained popularity in the 2000s, certifying more than 200 million hectares of forests. Since 2010, it has been actively expanding its activities to cover new ecosystems and products.
Today, FSC is one of the most recognised environmental certifications in the world.

FSC promotes environmentally and socially responsible forestry, which guarantees the long-term preservation of forests and green spaces. It makes efforts to prevent illegal deforestation, which is a serious problem today.
