What is FSSC Certification?

FSSC (Food Safety System Certification) is an international food safety certification system developed for businesses operating in the food supply chain, including packaging material manufacturers. The standard is based on ISO 22000:2018, ISO/TS 22002-4:2013 specifications, and additional FSSC (version 6) requirements that are mandatory to fully comply with EU market demands and global retail networks.

Today, FSSC 22000 is recognized in more than 150 countries worldwide, is part of the GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) scheme, and is considered a mandatory criterion for cooperation with many international retail chains.

How did StudioPack obtain the FSSC certificate?

Certification process: 3 months of transformation during which the StudioPack production team prepared for the implementation of the FSSC system:

  • an internal audit was conducted in accordance with ISO 22000:2018,
  • production processes were adapted to meet ISO/TS 22002-4 specifications for packaging material manufacturers,
  • documentation and operational procedures were implemented in line with the additional requirements of FSSC 22000 Version 6,
  • staff training was organized at all levels of responsibility.

The audit was conducted by the certification body TÜV NORD CERT GmbH (Germany), according to the requirements of ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015. The company received the certificate on February 26, 2025, valid until February 25, 2028. The certificate can be downloaded for review here.

According to the certificate, the food safety management system covers:

  • production of disposable aluminum foil containers (stamping, assembling, packaging),
  • production of cardboard packaging (cutting, forming, gluing, packaging),
