From September 03 to 04, 2026, the 18th International Exhibition-Conference PrivateLabel & FMCG Master and Distribution Master 2026 took place at the Kyiv International Exhibition Centre (IEC) — a leading industry event for retail, distribution, and FMCG sector professionals. As a key national manufacturer of food packaging in Ukraine since 2006, StudioPack took an active part in the event, presenting a stand with a full range of solutions for private labels (PL) and gastronomy. In addition to the product presentation, the company’s specialists held over a hundred business meetings with purchasing managers, commercial directors of national retail chains, food production technologists, and representatives of the chain HoReCa segment, discussing supply chain optimization under conditions of crisis destabilization.
New Direct-to-Store Logistics: A Case Study by StudioPack
As part of the exhibition’s business program, Vitalii Sopilnyak, Head of the Retail Chains Department at StudioPack, delivered a presentation during the panel discussion. His report, titled “New Logistics in Ukraine (Case Study) and StudioPack Innovations (Q4 2026),” generated high interest among market operators due to the critical relevance of the topic raised.
Martial law challenges — massive attacks, prolonged air raid alerts, and direct damage to the distribution centers (DCs) of major retailers — created a high risk of supply disruption for private label products. The traditional “Manufacturer — DC — Store” scheme temporarily lost its reliability, requiring market operators to adapt rapidly.
The company’s response was the development and implementation of a direct logistics model, “Direct-to-Store.” A practical case study of collaboration with the NOVUS chain demonstrated the high efficiency of this approach:
- Over 140 orders were fulfilled directly to retail outlets within 10 calendar days of intensive work on a 6/1 schedule.
- Operational coverage of 60 retail outlets in Kyiv and the Kyiv region was ensured during the critical period of DC damage.
- The Just-in-Time principle was implemented with a delivery lead time of 3–5 days, local pricing in UAH, and flexible batch sizes without tying up capital in inventory.
Analysis shows that import suppliers remain in the risk zone due to waiting times of 14–21 days, border delay risks, and currency fluctuations. A domestic manufacturer of food packaging in Ukraine serves as a guarantor of an uninterrupted operational cycle for retail.

Q4 2026 Innovations: Smoothwall Containers for Heat-Sealing
Following the resolution of logistics challenges, the company focused on expanding its product range in response to shortages and legislative restrictions on plastic usage. Holding a 75% market share in aluminum containers, StudioPack is expanding its portfolio, which already features over 150 SKUs of aluminum containers and over 300 SKUs of cardboard solutions (bowls, soup containers, lunch boxes).
It was officially announced that a new line of 4 SKUs of premium smoothwall aluminum foil containers designed for film sealing (SP272, SP273, SP292, SP294 series) will be released in Q4 2026, marking the first time these are manufactured in Ukraine:
- Manufacturability: the smooth rim design ensures hermetic sealing, enabling easy integration into any automated production line.
- Functionality: aluminum foil packaging withstands a temperature range from shock freezing (-40°C) to baking (+250°C), creating a barrier against light, moisture, and oxygen.
- Target Audience: the appearance of the products is tailored for manufacturers of convenience foods, ready meals, and premium retail gastronomy.
Conclusions
Participation in the event by StudioPack PrivateLabel and StudioPack FMCG Master confirmed the company’s status as the #1 systemic B2B partner in the food packaging manufacturing industry. The combination of a flexible Direct-to-Store logistics scheme, local manufacturing, and the launch of new high-tech products—such as cardboard packaging and smoothwall aluminum containers—guarantees stable growth and high competitiveness for Ukrainian retail and the FMCG sector.
